S&S Xwedge, Italian style!

Today we spend a few hours on a motorbike fair. Not really spectacular, until I saw this bike. What a fantastic machine! Its based on the S&S Xwedge engine. Check out the companies website http://www.crs-motorcycles.com

Tube bender, Another tick in the box!

Today we made the last holes. The 1 inch center holes for the die center.
With some pins the bender is now operational.
This piece of equipment is a big tick in the box on my wishlist! I am very pleased with the result. I'll show some test-bends soon

Tube bender, Progress!

Almost finished drilling all the holes. The last few ones to do are 1 inch, for which I have no drill. Time to ask for help :-)
It will be done.

The parts for the tube bender have arrived. Tomorrow we make holes :-)

Kickstart arm ready!

Finished the kicker arm today,
As usual it involved heat and abrasion to get it done. For the first I got some help from Joshua with his acetylene torch, thanks mate…

Kickstart arm, update

Made myself another piece of the kicker arm, Tomorrow we'll bend a thick piece of roundbar and weld things together.
