Got the frontfork back from paint, wanted a proper 2C paint on it. Like the rest its painted in Henry Fords favorite colour. The triple tees, some bushes and the lower legs. Now its all assembled it has the fat look I wanted. For me black always works because I like my bikes clean and simple. for this black is the perfect colour. Wíll this be boring?? No worries some colour will be added later.
Keep on working your tools...

Exhaust mounted
did some more assembly work last weekend. Mounted the exhaust, made some brackets and removed the sensor plugs.
Also took a close look at the position of the forward controls and the seating position. Since I am a big bloke I moved the seat backwards as far as possible. Will try and drop of my sadle to the upholstry guy during this week to try and maintain steady progress.
As I mentioned before the front fork will be painted black. Since I also finished the front fender this weekend, I dropped the frontfork of with the painter today. Hopefully he can finish it soon, Its a bit of a peak season for him.
It is starting to come together nicely, I like the looks.....

Assembly started
This is the moment in the build that I always enjoy most. Bit by bit the parts are ready and I can start putting the machine back together again. Don't be mistaken I have plenty still to do but its really motivating to see the bike back on its wheels. Got the lower legs back form the machine shop where they removed the reflector mounts. Spend a few hours grinding and polishing.
After I finish mounting the front fender the lower legs and the triple tees will be painted black as well.

Stainless steel spokes

Assembly started
I waiting for my wheels to come back from Haan Wheels for some nice stainless spokes. In the meantime I have started assembly. removed all the temporary plugs from the frame and swingarm to protect against the coating. Don't want to spend ages cleaning the bearing seats etc. New bearing are fitted.
Putting the frame and swingarm together, added the shocks, gearbox and engine.
Looks how everything is shining, looks like brandnew.... nice.
