Swap meet.... 21inch Akront and a hub!

Like I said, no chrome on this bike. So...... looked for some alu parts....... and I got lucky.

After some grinding, sanding and polishing, this is the result....... nice!

Mockup...... some more mods!

Now the work on the rear wheel is finished, I decided to continue with the front-end......

21 inch wheel and narrow handlebars....... sign of times?

This wheel is temporary, just to check the stance...... No chrome on this bike!

Dirtbike?... Think again

The new rear tire is in. I am stoked...... Love it.

Butt....... this calls for more changes to the bike.

What todo next?

All wheather, All terrain!

Want to fit the smallest off road car tire I can find. 205/ 70/ 15. With some small modifications to the fender it should fit. Bad ass..........

Its been a while since I posted something on me blog...... Shit happened..... but I am back and I have been working on some ideas.

First fixed some old problems with bearings and spacers. It al fits perfectly now.

Battery on wheels

Its been a while since my last post. Been busy with many things but not seen the inside of my toolshop for a while. Time for a little project!
Do you recognise this........ The large car battery you use as starter support for the bikes is always in the way and you end up moving it around from one spot to the next........ and again.......and again.....

My battery has got wheels now. Build a little cart that has space for my loader and, if needed, space for a bike battery that needs charging. Bit of paint and its done.

Air suspension pump

Made this from a bicycle pump and a special filler nipple.
With this I am able to fill the suspension at the right pressure and when removing the pump prevent any air leakage when removing the filler nipple

After surfing the net I converted the inch drawings into metric ones this Sunday. Time for the milling machine again ;)
