War-machine!? first ride

My mate Wim finished his war machine and honoured us with a visit.
His bike is a head-turner, I am sure we're going to have some fun with folks that are going to assume the brand and heritage of the bike. WRONG, hahah......I love it.....

Bigtwin bikeshow... No Swede to be found!

Spend a few hours on the Bigtwin bikeshow in Rosmalen today. After visiting many of these type of shows, things appear to be more and more the same, lacking "new" stuff. That's why I started looking for the smaller things, the details that strike me and stand out.
This time I was struck by a paintjob. No idea who did it, but he/ she deserves a big compliment.

The other thing that I noticed.....No Swede on the show....they must have forgotten about them now everything needs to be oldskool and zero-styled. Opportunity??

nicked this foto from Chopadilics blog :-)
Nice primairy don't you think

Alu inlay, continued

After yesterdays success I was eager to get back into the workshop this morning to make the "backbone" alu inlay for the rear fender. Spend another few hours bending, hammering and rolling to get it into shape and to fit it to the fender.
I am very pleased with the result. Next week test fit to the bike to cut the fender tip to size.

Harold where are you I am ready for more paint magic. gheghe.....

Paintjob, The magic is happening!

The magic is happening, it’s really cool to see how al the parts transform when the expert is at work. Suddenly they get their smooth and equal surfaces and you only need a "little" imagination to picture them into their final colors. Nice work Harold.........
