Little trip to Thunderbike

What a fantastic weather this weekend, finally some sun.
Had to get on the bike, no particular reason, no particular destination, Just do it.....
Had a stopover at Thunderbike, some inspiration for this winter???

After fumbling around with wires the past days I got to start the bike for the first time since Oct 2009. It roars, it shakes, it goes........
Hahahaha, did my first test ride, 10km, tomorrow I'll fix some start-up problems and then........I'll ride it some more.
Nothin beats riding you own backyard build bike. yessssss........

Tell me I am dreaming!

After scrolling through the web for some idea's I stumbled over some fotos. Hell the're fantastic. Imagine.....20 inch over frontfork, 4-6 inch stretched frame, 15 inch wheel with a 230 car tire, fishtails, kings and queen.
Please, anyone, Tell me I am dreaming! :-)

Long bikes rule!

I am going through a big stack of old bike magazines for inspiration for my next project. I have always wanted to build one of these...... Will I do it?

Inspiration 1

You could argue that many companies in the current bike building industry are only about making money. With the "old" economy people where paying ridiculous prices for "home build" custom bikes. Exile in my view is one of the rare ones who have stayed true to their way of bike building. You like hem or you don't. I obviously do.
Like the no nonsense look of all their bikes. less is more.
